Punarnava is an important tonic and rejuvenating herb for the kidneys, which, due to its high content of calcium salts and the alkaloid punarnavine, is commonly used in Ayurvedic diuretic formulations.
A diet with regular use of Punarnava helps in the normal functioning of the kidneys and urinary system.
