Sarpagandha vati Baidyanath (30 tablets)

Sarpagandha vati gradually reduces systolic and diastolic pressure in various forms and stages of hypertension, if not accompanied by organic changes in the cardiovascular system. Upon discontinuation of the drug, the hypotensive effect persists for quite a long time. Along with the hypotensive effect, renal blood flow increases, glomerular filtration is enhanced, and kidney function improves. This drug also has a positive effect on lipid and protein metabolism in patients with hypertension and coronary atherosclerosis. It also has an effective impact in treating arrhythmia, is used in cases of mental disorders, and with sedative properties, it is effective in treating insomnia. It can also be used in hysteria and urticaria.  The essential oils contained in it have a hypotensive and calming effect. Sarpagandha also stimulates menstruation and is used as an additional remedy for stress-induced amenorrhea.Sarpagandha reduces Vata Dosha, balances Pitta and Kapha doshas. 

Usage: 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day, or as prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor.  

Contraindications: the use of the drug is contraindicated in severe organic cardiovascular diseases with signs of decompensation, as well as in pronounced bradycardia, nephrosclerosis, and cerebral sclerosis. When using drugs from Rauwolfia serpentina, the dosage should be carefully observed. One of the signs of overdose is nasal congestion.
