In Ayurveda, Neem (margosa) is used as an antiseptic and cleansing agent for the skin. It eliminates the root cause of skin problems, cleanses the blood, liver, regulates metabolism in the body, and destroys infections.
Externally, Neem acts to eliminate visible signs of skin diseases. It cleanses pores, nourishes the skin, fights boils, rashes, and pimples, especially internal, subcutaneous ones that are difficult to get rid of with cosmetic products.
In addition to skin diseases, Neem boosts immunity, activates the body's defense functions, and improves metabolism. Neem makes your blood unattractive to parasites and mosquitoes. In India, during epidemics of tropical fevers like Malaria, Dengue, and Chikungunya transmitted by mosquitoes, people chew Neem twigs and mosquitoes do not bite them.
