The main effect of the Lakshadi Guggul preparation occurs due to two resins included in its composition - lakshad and guggul. Guggul is one of the most well-known components of Ayurvedic preparations. It enhances the body's protective properties and has a general strengthening effect. Lakshad acts directly on the musculoskeletal system, filling the bones with calcium, promoting their fusion. It removes osteophytes, promotes calcium deposition where it is most needed. It is advisable to take it together with preparations containing calcium. It reduces muscle swelling and inflammation, reduces skin inflammatory diseases. Lakshadi Guggul has a calming effect on the Vata dosha.
Purpose: fractures, ligament sprains, dislocations, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, osteopenia, low bone density, general bone weakness, inflammation of the heel bone, arthritis, sciatica, abscesses, hemorrhoids, bursitis (inflammation of the synovial sac), muscle pain and spasms, stiffness, myositis (muscle inflammation), muscle strains, swollen joints, frequent injuries and bruises, tendonitis (tendon tissue dystrophy).
Usage: 2-4 tablets twice a day after meals with water.
Contraindications: pregnancy, individual intolerance to the preparation or its components.
Composition: Shellac - a red resin-like substance produced by the female insect Coccus lacca (lac insect), Cissus quadrangularis, Terminalia arjuna, Withania somnifera, Vanda roxburghii, Commiphora wightii.
