DASHMUL AVALEHA, Punarvasu, 300 g - hormonal balance, digestion and respiratory system
DASHMUL AVALEHA - used in the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases such as bronchitis, asthma, effective in gastrointestinal disorders: chronic flatulence, fever, bloating and hiccups.
Dashamul Rasayana (Dashamul Avaleha) is an Ayurvedic preparation used to treat cough, bronchitis, breathing problems, asthma, colds, rhinitis, tuberculosis, hoarseness (hoarse voice), chronic fever, anorexia, bloating and flatulence.
Dashamul Rasayana reduces inflammation of the respiratory tract, relaxes and expands the bronchi, and facilitates breathing. It also acts as an antitussive and bronchodilator, soothing cough.
Purpose:
Anti-inflammatory
Bronchodilator
Antitussive
Mucolytic
Antibacterial
Antimicrobial

Digestive stimulant
Carminative
Antispasmodic
Hepatoprotective

Effect on doshas:
Dashamul Rasayana mainly acts on Vata dosha. This product also pacifies and balances Kapha dosha. This formula is usually not suitable for patients with aggravated Pitta dosha.
Dashamul Rasayana helps with the following problems:
Asthma
Breathing problems
Cough
Bronchitis
Cold
Flu
Constant hiccups
Sinusitis
Tuberculosis
Allergic rhinitis
Hoarseness (hoarse voice)
Anorexia

Chronic fever
Flatulence
According to Ayurveda, Dashamul Rasayana reduces Vata aggravation. Its main actions are observed on the lungs and respiratory tract and abdominal organs. This formula is also useful for treating neuromuscular disorders. Cold, acute rhinitis.
Dashamul Rasayana gives good results if started immediately after the first symptom of a cold or feeling of a cold. Dashamul Rasayana prevents a cold and stops its progress. This formula is also very useful when the patient suffers from fatigue, sneezing, runny nose, nasal congestion, white phlegm, body aches, and headache. It reduces all these symptoms. However, Dashamul Rasayana should not be taken if the patient has yellowish-green mucus, sore throat with burning sensation, or if the throat is extremely red or inflamed. In this case, Vasa Avaleha, Vasa, or Sitopaladi Churna are more useful.
Bronchitis. Dashamul Rasayana is useful in the initial stage of acute bronchitis, when the patient has persistent dry unproductive cough. In this case, it should be taken in a small dose (about 2 grams) at intervals of 30 to 60 minutes until the patient gets relief from constant coughing fits.
At the next stage, mucus begins to come from the lungs. Dashamul Rasayana can still be taken until the phlegm becomes clear and white. Usually, white phlegm is often associated with a viral infection, so this product is effective in viral bronchitis. In bacterial bronchitis or when the color of the phlegm changes to yellowish-green or yellow-gray, the best remedy is Vasa Avaleha or Sitopaladi Churna.
Asthma. The same principle applies here as described above in the "Bronchitis" section. When the patient has a constant dry cough, Dashamul Rasayana is really useful.

There are no side effects when Dashamul Rasayana is used reasonably by patients with a predominance of Vata and/or Kapha dosha.
