Ashoka churna is considered beneficial for the uterus (especially when combined with Ashwagandha), has a therapeutic effect on the endometrium, and a stimulating effect on the ovaries. It is used as a heart stimulant in scorpion bites.
Ashoka has a regulating influence on the menstrual cycle due to its stimulating effect on the uterus. The proestrogen in Ashoka corrects estrogen deficiency and improves ovarian function. Ashoka extract enhances and restores uterine tissues, thus preventing pathological bleeding. This plant has strong antibacterial and anti-tumor effects on the female reproductive system. Ashoka also has a spasmolytic and anti-inflammatory effect, preventing pain. Its immunomodulatory and hematopoietic properties are beneficial for anemia and general weakness caused by uterine disorders.
Recommendations: Gynecological problems (menorrhagia, dysmenorrhea - painful periods, prolapse or inflammatory conditions of the uterus, uterine fibroids), leucorrhea, internal bleeding, including in dysentery, colitis, bleeding hemorrhoids; dyspepsia, fever, burning sensation, papules.
Contraindications: Thrombophlebitis, thrombosis, pregnancy (has oxytocic action)
Usage: 2-5 g per day or as recommended by an Ayurvedic doctor.
